Do you have an old crochet project you haven’t  finished?  A new coloring book you want to start? A craft that you love to do but can’t find the time to begin working on? 

BYOC “Bring You Own Craft” Night is the perfect opportunity for you to dedicate 2 hours to a project you’ve been wanting to complete or start! Grab your tools and materials and come gather with other creatives who want to build a crafting community!

THE DETAILS

Where: Denbigh Community Center, Newport News, VA (Classroom number will be provided once ticket has been purchased)

When: October 16th, 2025

Time: 6:30-8:30pm

What to Expect:

- 2 hours of uninterrupted time for you to create new projects or work on unfinished ones!

- Complimentary snacks and beverages for you to enjoy as you craft.

- Good music and space to learn from one another and build community!

 
What to Bring:

- Bring a project that you are already working on! Whether you’re knitting/crocheting, jewelry making, painting, journaling, scrapbooking and more!

- Be sure to bring all the tools and materials you need to work on your craft! 

Additional notes:

- This is an adult only event (18+).

- Please be sure to have your ticket confirmation email on hand upon arrival to the event to confirm that you are a scheduled participant.

- Each ticket is for one person. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Ticket sales will end at 11:59pm the night before the event you are planning to attend. (Limited Tickets Available!)

1. Will there be tools/materials provided at this event?

- No, tools and materials will not be provided at this event so be sure to write yourself a reminder to bring what you need!

2. Are there certain crafts that I can’t bring to this event? 

- We ask that you do not bring crafts that require an open flame (to ensure the safety of others). Please refrain from bringing crafts that have a very strong scent (for those sensitive to fragrances and fumes). Please do not bring aerosols (spray paints and other liquids/gases that release from a can). 

3. How much space will I have to craft?

- You will be seated at a 6 foot table with up to 3 people so you will have about 2 feet of workspace (smaller projects are recommended).
